Thanks Jerry for stopping by and reading my story . Obviously I was not around that time , I am just relating the stories the way my grandparents told them to me .They are all gone now and even when they were still around their memories were so fuzzy and so afflicted by the passage of time and the pain they suffered at the hands of various tyrants that history becomes relative if you want . I have one uncle that was deported after Stalin died and he perished somewhere in Siberia . The facts I guess mean only as much as they impacted individuals …
Jerry, I have been offline for a week or so. Re my avatar I don't own a digital camera, I have a really old Nikon but have no idea where it is, maybe in storage? I do have pictures of myself but they are at least ten years old and again I don't know where they are, maybe in storage? I am not very photogenic. Jerry, couldn't have said it better myself! Yes, to hell with wisdom and on with technology even at the cost of human lives. I'm not against technological developments but all too many times so many lives are lost which are neither ours to give nor take.
Thanks for the encouragement on me someday becoming an author. I look forward with great anticipation as to what I may end up writing as well as the long-term impact it may have on the world. Thanks also for explaining "IMnsHO" to me. :-)

Thanks for telling me about your struggles with having your book published. I got a better understanding of how hard publishing a book can be. I just found your book on Amazon.com. I read a few sections. It looked very interesting. I helped to get the word out on David's book by freely distributing them to various people online and in print. I feel that if people can connect to the book's message, momentum will gradually build. The ultimate goal isn't to sell books but to help people. However, books do end up being sold along the way.
I wish to become an author myself someday. I want to write about the problems we face in society relating to our mental and emotional needs, eventually leading to full spiritual enlightenment. I would like one of my first books to be about developing positive self-image and self-esteem. I really think it'll have the potential to help change society for the better. We'll see what happens. For now, I'll focus on my spiritual growth and David's upcoming book, The Gnostic Jesus. Hopefully it'll be available in paperback and free e-book formats by the end of the summer.
